History Project

In this workshop we learnt about Rigging, we watched a YouTuber called Gigantic and I learnt so much on how to add bones to a character enabling us to animate them, I thought it was a exciting workshop.

I wanted to make a character and libraries for it.

In this workshop I was able to learn about libraries we were given task to do at home which was to make our own libraries such as specific body parts and emotions or movements. In class the computers didn’t work however I managed to team up with Azlan and learn about how to take advantage of this technique in a animation video.

In this workshop I learnt about 3D camera , I must say this is my favourite workshop as it was a technique I always wanted to learn. In the beginning I thought it was done through key frames manually later I realised that it involved a whole virtual camera and it’s movement through Julies help.

I really liked this workshop and tried it out better at home.

Animatic

To enable the parallax method I had to use photoshop and patch a lot of the scenes which was sometimes difficult because I had to try predict how certain objects look. For instance the wall design below was a recreation to predict its looks behind a projection to create realism.

I really like what we both did however i could’ve been more clean and loyal to one theme.

This is the final video we created:
