Sylvie Feedback:

Animatic 1:

  • Look into stylised drawings by Sisyphus by Jankovics as inspiration for Lion drawing.
  • First establish that the seeds / eye are native to the rock.
  • Establish that the seeds are also eyes.
  • Bring the lion as a surprise, make him kill the seeds cruelly.
  • Establish that the rock diminishes each time the lion throws seeds away.
  • Establish that the seeds keep birthing on the rock.
  • Select a style and do more animatic (less rough) and style frame.
  • Draw without border included.

Animatic 2:

Sylvie Feedback:

  • Try to draw bit more clearly
  • How does tiger and boy have a bond, isn’t a tiger meant to be scary?
  • What’s overall message?
  • Does film fit the timing?
  • Maybe tiger can have a magic power to shrink?
  • Maybe use the eyes of Tiger instead of animating whole tiger, more effective.
  • What makes a boy feel like underwater world is his home?
  • What elements of a tiger are relatable to the boy historically and culturally?
