Cinanima 2019
The Hostel we stayed in, wasn’t the best but felt like a new atmosphere to vibe in.
My experience in Espinho, Portugal Cinanima 2019 was unforgettable and amazing. I had a great time watching phenomenal movies on the big screen and felt inspired to make it to the festival in a couple years.
It was always a great experience to wake up to, having a smoke and Delta coffee was really what i needed whilst enjoying the breeze and scenery. Most food were very cheap in Espinho and i loved their Churros, it was my first and best one I had. Coke tasted amazing compared to london’s ones after sugar tax. The people there were extremely friendly even though I didn’t know how to speak their language. The scenaries are amazing.
I loved the food… I tried eating as much street food as possible and avoided restaurants. I took a lot of chocolate home for family.
I explored Porto and had Alcohol base Shisha and it was a pleasant and exclusive experience since I cannot get in the UK. The City looked stunning at night.
I enjoyed the festival seeing unique films by various students from around the world. I really like ‘Mind my mind- Floor Adams’ , it had all the qualities of an industry standard Hollywood film and kept me entertained. The film focuses on antisocial character trying to process his life and finally getting the girl he wants. It was very pleasant to watch. Another film i enjoyed was ‘The Kite – Martin Smatana’ it really gave me the emotional feeling in between a grandchild and the grandfather, the music truly helped the film project the feel. I liked the animation style of ‘ Airship of the Unknown – Alexandra Galitskova’. It was a unique experience.
